- Switch to "Step 1: Download Certificate" tab above
- Scan the QR code with your phone camera to download the certificate
- Open Settings → Security → More security settings
- Tap "Install from device storage" or "Install certificates"
- Select "CA certificate" when asked for type
- Find and select the downloaded cartify-ca.crt file
- Confirm installation (you may need your PIN/password)
- Switch to "Step 2: Open App" tab and scan to access Cartify!
Alternative path: Settings → Security → Encryption & credentials → Install a certificate → CA certificate
- Switch to "Step 1: Download Certificate" tab above
- Scan the QR code with your phone camera
- Tap "Allow" when prompted to download
- Open Settings → You'll see "Profile Downloaded" at the top
- Tap "Profile Downloaded" → "Install" → Enter passcode
- Tap "Install" again on the warning screen → "Done"
- CRITICAL: Go to Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings
- Find "CartifyLocalCA" and toggle it ON
- Tap "Continue" on the warning
- Switch to "Step 2: Open App" tab and scan to access Cartify!
⚠️ Steps 7-9 are required! Without enabling trust, HTTPS will not work on iOS.
- Click the "Download Certificate File" button above
- Double-click the downloaded .crt file
- Click "Install Certificate..."
- Select "Local Machine" → Click Next (requires admin)
- Select "Place all certificates in the following store"
- Click "Browse" → Select "Trusted Root Certification Authorities"
- Click Next → Finish → Yes on security warning
- Restart your browser
- Access https://{{LOCAL_IP}}
Tip: If you used the setup.ps1 script, the certificate is already installed automatically!
- Click the "Download Certificate File" button above
- Double-click the downloaded .crt file
- Keychain Access will open automatically
- Select "System" keychain when prompted → Enter password
- Find "CartifyLocalCA" in the list and double-click it
- Expand the "Trust" section
- Set "When using this certificate" to "Always Trust"
- Close the window → Enter password to confirm
- Restart your browser
- Access https://{{LOCAL_IP}}
